Yes, we have a webpage now!
Our collective has just completed its first year as of May. The bumpy ride we found ourselves on has brought us all the way here.
Although we started with podcasts, we always had the idea of expanding further. This year, we’ll be operating through this webpage alongside our social media and streaming platforms. A quick reminder: we’re not only on Spotify! If you prefer other platforms, please check our Linktree page.
As the Collective reflected on the large amount of material we’ve been gathering, we realized: “we’re gonna need a bigger boat.” This webpage will therefore function as an archive for all our recordings. In time, we’ll also release every interview from our Skala / İskele: A Transnational Podcast Series in a raw, stand-alone format.
Another important development is our growth. We are now a team roughly ten times larger, spread across six cities: Athens, Thessaloniki, Lesvos, Imroz, Ayvalık, and İzmir. This expansion has brought a wave of new ideas—which also led to the creation of this webpage. This year, we’ll be working not only on podcasts, but also on publications and videos.
Finally, we’ve built a highly committed translation team. Our ultimate aim is to keep the webpage up to date in three languages: English, Greek, and Turkish. In doing so, we reaffirm our belief in the transnational nature of this project. And if you’ve been using AI to translate our work—good news! Soon, we might be reaching you in your own language.
So stay tuned and keep following us. We salute all the clenched fists—and the pairs of wings hidden inside them.
